Je voudrais encore ajouter à ces propos ma certitude que, si notre nation, notre peuple, avait pu prendre un autre chemin, si votre père n’avait pas été tué au combat, s’il avait pu voir quelle voie a suivie son fils Hans-Gert Poettering, il aurait certainement été fier de lui, tout comme vos fils ont aujourd’hui pleinement le droit d’être fiers de leur père.
